Pakistan on the verge of commencement of mega event seems to be in much difficulties. Team is yet not seem to be settled in with a right combination as they are going to play a tough opener against India on 15th of February. Instead of setting up a right combination they are looking for in and out of players.
First issue came when Junaid Khan after injury could not recover because of which he failed his fitness test and was dropped from the squad. To replace him left arm pacer Rahat Ali is selected to join the team in Australia.

It took a turn when on 7th of this month ODI number 1 bowler Saeed Ajmal was cleared to bowl in international cricket after his remodeled action. ICC also said that Saeed Ajmal can join the team only if someone unfits, in that case he can be a replacement.
Soon after it Pakistan opener Muhammad Hafeez injured and is also ruled out of the world cup 2015. Saeed Ajmal was available to team but Coach Waqar Younis and leader MISBAH asked to choose an opener instead of Saeed Ajmal. Another reason to drop selection of Saeed Ajmal was not playing any competitive cricket in recent times. They carved out a solution and selected Nasir Jamshed to replace the opener to join team for battle against in INDIA.
