Pakistani attacking fast bowler Junaid Khan has been ruled out of world cup after a very late fitness test just before comencement of mega event.He was already suffering from stress because of which he was kept aside in series against New Zealand. According to a report he was going through strong rehabiliation in collaboration with Pakistan Cricket Board(PCB) at National Cricket Academy(NCA) to get well set for the mega event.
According to the initial report his injury was rated as Grade-1 injury.After which it was highly expected that he will recover in a time span of almost two weeks but time proved it otherwise to the player, as his dream of ICC world cup 2015 remains no where now.It is very discouraging news for the player.He also believes that he has marginally failed the test despite of putting a lot of hard work.
Fast bowler is the part of the side over a very handy time period with great performances on his part.On the other hand it is a very bad news for Pakistan as well as he is going to miss the upcoming event.Otherwise, it was believed that Junaid Khan bowling in attack of unpredictable side alongwith world tallest bowler Muhammad Irfan can prove dangerous to any time in the event.But now it all stands meanless.
After this news now Pakistan will have to select another member to replace him in the side of 15.According to a news Pakistan will announce the player(replacement) very shortly.
